Terms of Service

Effective date: July 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WithCoach mobile application and withcoach.app website ("Service") operated by WithCoach ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Subscription Plans

The Service offers free and paid tiers:

• Free: Basic video comparison with local storage
• Pro: Cloud sync, unlimited comparisons, advanced features
• Coach: All Pro features plus coaching tools, athlete connections, and activity feed

Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not authorized by us
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all videos and content you create or upload. By using cloud sync or coaching features, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service.

When you share content with a coach or athlete through a connection, both parties can view that shared content. Ending a connection removes shared access.

5. Coaching Features

Coaches can invite athletes to connect. Both parties must consent to the connection. Either party can end the connection at any time. Coaches are responsible for the content they share and the feedback they provide.

6. Account Deletion

Use Delete Account in the app to start permanent deletion. You are signed out immediately; stored media is securely reclaimed before the account record is permanently removed. See account deletion for details.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
